Lingerie & Corsets
What a year it has been for us at Boo. We have had so many gorgeous brides come through the door and find their dress with us, we have created another incredible collection of gowns for brides to choose from, we had the chaos of the leak followed by an unbelievable transformation (which I am still in awe of every time I come in), and now we have introduced our new lingerie collection.
Most of you will already know about the exquisite corsetry from our sister company Lime Jellyfish, and we wanted to build on that for brides who don’t want their collection day to be end of their time with us. We have teamed up with New York based Skarlett Blue, to bring you the most decadent lingerie you have ever seen. Don’t believe me? Keep reading.
Part of our glow up, involved a way of opening Boo to all women, not just brides, and welcoming them back time and time again. It was important to keep it service based, ensuring a hands on, perfect fit all of the time. Lingerie was the obvious next step for me as it would compliment the corsets perfectly, and I am desperate to get women out of their lockdown bralettes and into well fitting bras. I am also a huge believer in that if you are wearing good underwear and great shoes … a woman can conquer the world!
Initially, it was important for me that this lingerie line was eye-catching and looked just as good on the bedroom floor as it does on the wearer - the fact that it is beyond comfortable was a very happy discovery. We wanted women to be able to have their whole honeymoon wardrobe catered for in one easy shopping trip, with colours and fabrics that are luxurious and tantalising. With names like Entice, and Enamoured, we knew they would be perfect. Once we realised how comfortable these sets were, they have rapidly become staple workwear for the whole team, and our personal collections are growing rapidly, showing us that these are not just for special occasions, they are for every woman, every shape, and every day. Could you imagine wearing an unlined lace bra beneath a satin blouse….. to work? Me neither - but we do!
And so The Club was born! We want to empower women from within, getting them to see themselves as we do, allowing them to embrace their inner siren and learning the art of “dressing to undress”. Every Boo Bride becomes a member and is given a professional bra fitting, where she discovers her bra size and her sister sizes. She is then informed every time there is a style or colour way being launched. We only offer limited lines, so once your size or colour has gone, that’s it until the next season’s drop. Anyone can register to become a Club Member and experience for themselves the sheer bliss of beautiful and well fitting lingerie. It’s completely up to you if you decide to share the secret or not.
We cannot wait for you to discover this for yourselves, so we are hosting our very first Lingerie & Corset event on Thursday 2nd November at the boutique. We are expecting a full house and spaces are limited, but you can secure a spot for you and a friend via the booking link.
