More and more often we are seeing brides wanting to try new things. To be different and make a statement, breaking away from the traditional bridal gowns and searching for something more on trend. One statement that is looking huge for 2021 is the 'near-naked bride', taking the sexy bride image to a whole other level and leaving very little to your guest’s imagination.

Instead of the traditional heavy satins or silks, these dresses feature a much softer illusion lace, soft organza or tulle. We are seeing sheer slip dresses, with only cleverly placed lace appliques covering the parts of the body you wish to keep private. Sheer skirts paired with corsets are also very popular, with exposed boning and seams on the outside - Anyone else feeling slight Vivieen Westwood vibes here? - These gowns are also well known to be paired with a nude underlay giving a naked apperance without having to actually risk the nip slip - keeping it PG for the smaller members of the guest list.
