Last weekend saw the preview of the Alan Hannah ‘Moonshadow’ collection, and we were delighted to be one of the first boutiques in the country to host it.
The weather was a little grey to begin with but luckily storm Hannah held off and didn’t spoil any of the fun. Along with the stunning dresses, veils, corsets and headpieces, we had other guest suppliers come along to talk to the brides about how they can help make their day extra special. We are joined by:
Emma’s cakes are a masterpiece and her creativity knows no limits. Her coconut and raspberry cake is to die for. I have been lucky enough to work with Emma a few times, most recently on a photoshoot at Notely Abbey, but more about that another day. For now, we will concentrate on these gorgeous cakes and wonderful sugar flowers. Emma has a lovely studio in Basingstoke where you can visit (by appointment only) to view her amazing cakes and flower walls.
The flowers on the evening were supplied by Becky, who happens to be the florist for many of Boo’s brides. It’s easy to see why when her bouquets are this pretty. Based in Fleet, and with her team of floral angels, there is no job too big or too small.
We were so lucky to have Lisa come along with us for the preview evening and take these beautiful photos, - sadly none were of her. It was so lovely to see her excitement and passion for all things pretty and hear how she likes to shoot weddings. If you are still looking for your photographer, you really need to meet with her to discuss your requirements.
Catherine is a regular face at our preview evenings and we love working with her on photo shoots too. She created a beautiful soft and natural look for our models and was on hand to offer tips and advice for our guests.
There was such a fabulous response to the new collections and we cannot wait for our dresses to arrive later on this year. Keep an eye on our socials for updates x
